Vision and Values

Balanced Growth

Support intentional, community-centered development across all Port assets—our Industrial Park, Marina, Airfield, and Waterfront—by prioritizing projects that create jobs, enhance public access, and reflect the long-term needs and values of Camas-Washougal residents.

Workforce Investment

Strengthen trade and technical training pathways by connecting Port tenants with local schools, trade programs, colleges, and universities. Ensuring our kids are prepared with the skills needed for family-wage jobs right here in our community.

History & Tourism

Promote heritage-driven tourism by preserving cultural landmarks—such as the Historic Parkersville Site—and supporting marina, waterfront, and recreational development that honors local history, attracts visitors, and strengthens the regional economy.

Giving Back to My Hometowns

Raised in Camas-Washougal, I’ve dedicated my career to preserving our history while working to strengthen its future. Now, my wife and I are raising our daughters here—giving me an even deeper commitment to the long-term health and prosperity of our community. I bring proven leadership and a collaborative approach shaped by decades of public service, nonprofit management, and private sector experience.

Working for Our Community

As Port Commissioner, I’ll strive for balance. I’m excited to work for our community to create intentional, community-centered growth across our Port’s assets—our Industrial Park, Marina, Grove Field, and the Waterfront Development. I’ll focus on expanding job opportunities, strengthening trade and technical training pathways for our youth, and promoting our area’s story through tourism. Grove Field—an essential part of our Port—deserves careful, stakeholder-driven planning. I’ll work to develop strong relationship between our Industrial Park tenants and local schools, trade programs, colleges, and universities—ensuring the education we provide aligns with the skills needed for local, family-wage jobs. I’m committed to transparency, community engagement, and strategic partnerships that reflects our values and priorities.
